Mike Harding

Mike is a well known fishing author, comedian, singer and BBC broadcaster. He is also a well respected fly fisher and we are pleased to have him on board.

Mike still has an ambition to appear in Coronation Street as the natural son of Albert Tatlock.

Bernard Cribbins

Celebrated author, much loved actor, comedian and broadcaster. Bernard is an avid fly fisher and the author of the famous Mr Crabtree books as well as being a veteran himself. We are proud to have him, his experience and zest for life on board.

Anthony Spacey

CEO of The Littleover Group. After a successful military career he is now a well known businessman in the food industry. He now spends 40% of his working life devoted to charities and fund raising. He is also a passionate fly fisherman and a former pupil of Tom Hill’s.


John Wood M.B.E.

John is a former career soldier who received the military MBE during his 22years in the British Army. He is now a successful business man who brings with him a wealth of experience to the organisation.

Sylwia Mering

Sylwia is a very successful business woman specializing in finance and HR. She has a master’s degree in marketing from the University of Warsaw, Poland. She also works closely with Tony Spacey.


Neville Davies

Neville is a senior partner in Hall Davies and Co who are a leading firm of Independent financial advisers. Neville already works hard on behalf of several charities and is pleased to be able to bring his expertise to Fishing for Heroes. His fellow trustees hope to soon make him a fly fisherman too.


Roland Stuart-Jervis

Roland known to all as “Roly” is a semi retired businessman and like Tony spends at least half of his time working on behalf of charity. He brings with him his wealth of experience, business acumen and an inexhaustible enthusiasm for life. He is also a passionate fly fisherman.


Mike Copestake

Mike is a senior partner at Freeth Cartwright Solicitors specialising in corporate and contract law. He is also a trustee of another charity. He provides vast legal and financial expertise which in today’s society is vastly appreciated.


Mark Rickman

Mark is a Registered Mental Nurse who is already working with veterans suffering from PTSD and other emotional problems. His expertise leaves him unrivalled in this field. Although not a veteran himself his empathy and compassion means he is one of the few people to truly understand the veterans and their problems. He is also well respected by both the Royal British Legion and Combat Stress amongst others for his work.
